Forty-eight outstanding men and women athletes vied for Neils Andersen Sculptured trophies at Saturday’s 2009 NGA Alabama Natural Open Bodybuilding, Figure and Fitness Model Championships at a sold-out Hoover High School venue in Birmingham, Alabama.

The crowd enthusiastically supported the contestants who came from Tennessee, Georgia, Louisiana, Florida, Pennsylvania and Alabama to compete for three NGA Pro Cards in Open Figure, Men’s Masters and Open Bodybuilding.

To a person, the athletes were pleased with the setting, the pump up area, the treats and the goodie bags, which were supplied by Muscletology, an Alabama based supplement company and filled with tee shirts, hats, a pair of Gripad workout gloves and supplements.  All of the competitors said they would come back next year for the 2010 NGA Alabama Natural Open Championships.

Angia Baker of Tuscaloosa, Alabama won the Figure Tall Class and went on to capture the Open Figure Overall

I was just a five stone weakling ..but look at me now!

AS SHE stood on the podium, her muscular frame glistening in the spotlights, a ten-year fight against a potentially killer bug was finally sealed.

Jo Brown, who had only entered the Miss Scotland bodybuilding event for “an experience”, was voted the most toned woman in the contest.

It signifies a dramatic turnaround from when a dodgy bit of mince from a Greenock hotel almost killed her a decade ago.

She was rushed to hospital with E. coli, put in isolation and by her own admission, “thought I was a goner”.

Her weight dropped to less than five stone, and once released from hospital she battled to get her bulk up, but nothing worked.

However, a heavy programme of weightlifting, which intensified in January, has led to her virtually doubling her weight in muscle, and taking the crown in one of the National Amateur Bodybuilding Association’s most envied titles.

“I remember spitting out the beef at the time, and before I knew I was screaming with stomach pains and vomiting,” said the 37-year-old Livingston mother-of-three.

“In hospital I actually called in the nurse and asked if I was going to die that night, I’d pretty much accepted my time was up.”

But she hung in and emerged from isolation to embark on a struggle with weight that has lasted nearly ten years.

“I’d tried everything to put weight on, but I just couldn’t do it,” said the Morrisons supermarket worker. “I was tired all the time and had trouble walking – my immune system was completely shattered.

“Then I saw an old friend who’d been bodybuilding and I couldn’t believe the difference in her, so I started.”

She built it up to such an extent that she was on a six-month diet of only turkey, broccoli, fish and protein supplements leading up to the competition last month.

But it paid off as she walked away with the Miss Toned Scotland 2009 accolade.

“Preparation was a nightmare,” she added. “I had to abandon my social life and turn things down left, right and centre. It got to the stage that if I went out to meet friends, I’d carry broccoli and turkey in my handbag and ask restaurants to heat it up for me. When I was at work I was surrounded by food the whole time that I just couldn’t touch.”

With the support of her husband and three children at the event she saw off stiff competition from experienced participants.

“I only wanted to go to the event to experience it, to see what it was like, and then maybe work towards some other targets, so I was shocked when I won,” she added.

“After it I went out for a Chinese and a few drinks and it felt great.

“That’s me for the year now, I need to aim towards a tougher category now, which could take me two years to build up to.”

Heart patient is Mr Universe

GUWAHATI: In 2002, he won a battle against death with a big lump in his heart. Seven years down the line, he has won a match of muscles with his
perfectly toned abs. Meet the Mr Universe 2009 and the man with a big heart Mahadev Deka.

The 40-year old engineer from Assam on Saturday night clinched the title in the bantam weight category for India at the 2009 Musclemania Superbody world championship at Florida in the US.

“Mahadev called me from Florida on Sunday morning immediately after winning the title. This is the happiest moment in our lives. We are waiting for him to reach home,” said his wife Nayana, a fitness freak herself.

In 2008, he won the Musclemania at Miami and picked up the runners-up trophy. Though he had to make-do with a tight budget for his diet, Deka is the first from the state to win this prestigious world body building championship.

Mahadev underwent an open heart surgery in August 2002 after which he developed a lump in his chest. Doctors advised an open-heart surgery to get it removed. He rested for barely three months. Soon his love for the sport took him back to his favourite place, the gym.

Deka is an assistant engineer with the public health department of the state government. He took his first training from Monohar Ich in Kolkata in 1992 and went on to win won the bronze in that year’s Bharar Kumar Championship held at Bangalore.

He has won the Mr Assam title for seven years since 1992. He was also Mr North-East four times and Senior Mr India twice in a row. His first international exposure was at the Mr World championship 2005 in Germany and managed a semi-final berth.

Deka’s daily diet includes 20 egg whites, a chicken, fruit juice, little rice, lot of green vegetables and allotted supplements.

Body Building Champ

Already known to China as a small nation packing a mighty punch when it comes to athleticism following the 2008 Olympics, The Bahamas stands a great chance of earning yet another medal when Paul “Mighty Mouse” Wilson faces off during the 2009 World Games in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

At 5-feet 2-inches tall and 152 pounds, Wilson is a 26 year-old bodybuilding champion in the lightweight amateur division and the local federation executives believe he has a “good chance” of bringing back a medal.  He started the sport nine years ago while in high school and spent the last eight years dominating his division.

Among the titles he’s accumulated are the reigning Central American Caribbean champion gold medalist, the reigning national lightweight champion, and the two time champion of the Southern States Body Building Competition in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  While representing The Bahamas for the past eight years, the man they call Mighty Mouse earned one gold, two silvers, and one bronze medal at four of those competitions.
In 2006, he placed 17th out of 71 competitors at the World Championships held in the Czech Republic.  “I’ve been doing this sport since I was a teenager,” Wilson reflects.  “In fact, I entered my first competition the day after I graduated Faith Temple Christian High School.  I became a certified fitness instructor in Nevada and now I’m one of the personal fitness instructors at Mystikal Fitness, where I also train. All in all, I am more than ready to compete.”

Another thing that Wilson is ready to do is to bring more attention to the sport and he’s determined to get the financial backing he needs to reach his goals. “I think that body building in The Bahamas is being stunted because of the downturn in the economy and the stigmatism that goes along with the sport,” he noted.
“It does take a lot of money to stick to the proper diet, the vitamins, supplements and gym membership but a the same time, Bahamians have not only proven to be successful in the sport, but also are serious when it comes to abusing their bodies with steroids. I’m proud to say that we (The Bahamas) don’t have anyone known for drug abuse at these competitions,” he said proudly.
As for his pending competition, Wilson is ready to make the nation proud on his first trip to Asia. “I’m excited about going to Chinese Taipei,” he says. “I’ve seen some of the top notch athletes at other competitions and I’m ready. I’ve faced off against some of them before and I know the caliber of athletes on that level.  Overall, I’m motivated to compete and bring what I’ve got to the forefront.”

Bahamas Anti-Doping Commission challenges

The Anti-Doping in Sports Bill 2009 calls for the establishment of the Bahamas Anti-Doping Commission. This is very much in step with the level of sophistication in monitoring athletes, being subscribed to by most nations where the sporting industry is a dominant factor. For The Bahamas, an anti-doping commission, if set up and operated properly, would result in full respectability.

This issue of doping is a most delicate one. Thus far, we have had a couple of situations in athletics, a few in bodybuilding and little or nothing else. We have been lucky and around the world today, The Bahamas is not tainted.

We are certainly not like that country in which a certain event was being staged earlier this year. Several dope testing agents came on the scene and contestants vanished. They knew what the findings would be.

The tendency to use enhancing drugs is powerful. The pressure to succeed and to compete at the high bar level is tremendous. In order to have a high productivity, athletes must consume supplements. There are many drug brands on the international market that give that extra push (but they are banned). More often than is acceptable, top flight athletes succumb to the temptation and reach for that extra edge. Some get by and others don’t. There is also the angle of ignorance. The list of banned substances is gigantic. Often, the World Anti-doping Agency (WADA) adds to the list and the new items go unnoticed.

One could go to a pharmacy for an over-the-counter medication, only to find out later that it now contains a chemical that has just recently been banded. If the WADA folks come around and perform one of their random tests, the athlete in question ends up with a problem, sometimes a two-year suspension kind of a problem.

Yes, The Bahamas Anti-Doping Commission can play a major role for our athletes and federations. It must be well-structured and linked closely to all of the sports federations and other official entities that deal with athletes in competition. The task is a large one.

To show how demanding this undertaking is, six items from sub-section 5 (Functions of the Commission) as they appear in Part II of the Bill, follow:

The Commission shall be responsible for:

d. establishing a register for the Registered Testing Pool of national-level and international-level Bahamian athletes who are citizens or residents of The Bahamas and notifying such athletes and relevant national sporting organizations of entries made in the register.

e. directing the anti-doping program of the government specific to sports including the conducting of testing of athletes, planning, coordinating, and implementing the collection of samples, the management of test results and conducting hearings in keeping with the mandatory international standards set out in the code.

f. testing any athlete whether or not he (she) is a citizen or resident of The Bahamas.

g. notifying test results to athletes and, as the case may be, governments of countries other than The Bahamas, anti-doping organizations of other countries, or other signatories to the Code in accordance with bilateral or multilateral agreements entered into by The Bahamas with such governments, organizations or signatories.

h. entering into reciprocal testing agreements with national anti-doping organizations outside The Bahamas, in relation to any athlete.

i. encouraging and facilitating the negotiation by any sporting organization and anti-doping organization of any agreement permitting their members to be tested by authorized doping control teams from other countries.

j. cooperating with the testing and education initiatives of WADA and other anti-doping organizations.

It is indeed a tall order and very involved. Best wishes to those responsible to the government for the commission and how it functions.

On a health kick

PLYMOUTH — The owners of the new Cape Cod Nutrition Corner at Colony Place have tried just about every one of the products they sell.

For Mike Craven and Russ Kleekamp, it’s important that their customers receive the best nutritional products for meeting their goals.

“Pretty much everything we’ll sell I’ve tried before,” Kleekamp said. “It’s a wide variety of products,” he said.

For Craven that includes supplements, wheat shakes, multivitamins and other kinds of nutritional products they’ll sell when the store at 221 Colony Place, next to PetCo, opens this Saturday, June 20. A grand opening celebration will also be held 11 a.m. to 4 p.m Saturday, June 27, with special appearances by fitness experts.

Craven and Kleekamp met about four years ago at the gym where they both work out. The two men from Sandwich decided to team up to buy real estate, and while looking for other business opportunities, they decided to open a Cape Cod Nutrition Corner in Plymouth.

Their friend opened a Cape Cod Nutrition Corner in Hyannis 12 years ago and in just a few years was able to build a new store from the ground up. When he decided to expand the business further, he convinced Craven and Kleekamp to team up.

It didn’t take too much convincing.

“Every year he’s seen progressive growth to the point where he built a whole new store,” Kleekamp said.

Plymouth was chosen as a good fit from a business standpoint because it’s a growing area where Cape Cod Nutrition Corner can fill a void.

Craven studied exercise science and cardiac rehabilitation in college and worked for three years as a fitness director. He played soccer in high school and remains active.

“I’ve always been into fitness and nutrition,” he said.

Kleekamp works full-time as an environmental engineer, but stays in shape with the right foods and right supplements. He has run marathons and competed in bodybuilding competitions among other kinds of fitness events.

“I’ve always stayed active,” he said.

Along the way, as he plans to do with customers when he works at the store, he started offering advice to friends.

“I got involved in helping people with their diets,” he said.

Good nutrition benefits everyone, Craven and Kleekamp believe, so they will offer supplements that aid seniors, diabetics, athletes and other customers. Some people might be worried about joint care, while others may be in need of antioxidants.

Their manager, Dave Lifeford, has a degree in nutrition and, like Kleekamp, is into bodybuilding.

Cape Cod Nutrition Corner at 221 Colony Place will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays. The store’s phone number is 508-591-8555.

Testosterone thief in Olympia pleads guilty

OLYMPIA — A 20-year-old former Olympia High School football player who helped steal more than $12,000 worth of testosterone-enhancing bodybuilding supplements from The Vitamin Shoppe on Cooper Point Road in December was sentenced Tuesday to 90 days of work release from the Thurston County Jail.

Olympia police Det. Jeff Herbig learned in February that Zachary Riedel was using a personal e-mail address to sell “14 items that directly matched items stolen from the store,” court papers state.

During the burglary on Dec. 29, suspects gained entry by breaking a window and stole 286 “testosterone building products” used in bodybuilding that had a retail value of $12,609, court papers state.

As part of Riedel’s plea deal, he pleaded guilty Tuesday to one count each of second-degree burglary, first-degree theft, trafficking stolen property and unlawful manufacturing of marijuana, due to detectives finding 50 marijuana plants in his DuPont apartment when they served a search warrant there in February.

Riedel was a starting center on Olympia High School’s football team for the 2005 season, according to an article in The Olympian. He was listed as a senior in 2006, listed at 6-feet, 2-inches tall weighing 220 pounds. According to Riedel’s MySpace page, he is enrolled at South Puget Sound Community College, majoring in criminal justice.

In exchange for Riedel’s guilty plea, Thurston County deputy prosecuting attorney David Bruneau recommended that Riedel serve 90 days at the Thurston County Jail.

Bruneau said that there were two major reasons he recommended the one-year jail sentence for Riedel as part of a first-time offender program in exchange for his guilty plea. One is that Riedel has no prior criminal history. The other is that Riedel has cooperated with Olympia police and provided useful information in an ongoing investigation of a large number of burglaries — perhaps up to 50 — by other suspects in the Thurston County area.

Olympia police Lt. Jim Costa said Tuesday that the investigation is ongoing, and there could be more arrests in other area commercial burglaries that go back years. He would not elaborate because of the investigation.

Riedel apologized in court Tuesday before his sentencing. Riedel said he’s sorry for what he’s done and added that he’s “taking full responsibility for my actions.”

Riedel’s attorney John Sinclair said that Riedel comes from a good family, is employed, and was not the ringleader in the burglary of The Vitamin Shoppe. Sinclair added that Riedel plans to pay full restitution for the burglary.

Thurston County Superior Court Judge Christine Pomeroy told Riedel that he’s lucky he’s not going to prison for his four felony convictions. “If you weren’t so cooperative to police, you’d be going to prison,” she said.

When Olympia police served a search warrant at Riedel’s DuPont apartment in February, they found 50 marijuana plants in the basement, along with “62 bottles of miscellaneous bodybuilding supplements and other products which matched the stolen property list,” court papers state.

Sinclair said that Riedel can serve his sentence on work release, spending nights at the jail but working during the day, provided he keeps his job. Sinclair would not give details of Riedel’s employment.

Riedel and his family declined to comment after Tuesday’s court hearing.

COUNTRY MUSIC STAR AARON TIPPIN LAUNCHES LIFESTYLE CAMPAIGN AND NUTRITIONAL SUPPLEMENT Aaron Tippin Nutrition

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Top40 Charts/ Music City News Media & Marketing) - Award-winning, platinum-selling recording artist, songwriter and producer, Aaron Tippin, announced today the launch of his own lifestyle initiative and the introduction of his personal line of nutritional supplements, Aaron Tippin Nutrition (ATN).

Tippin who made the transition from the center of the bodybuilding arena to center stage in the country music industry nearly two decades ago, has added a new lifestyle product to his weighty list of ‘Can-Do’s.’

In his mid 20’s, Aaron Tippin was a competitive bodybuilder and the regimen became a motivating catalyst; he’s been a fitness buff ever since and now has launched a ‘way-of-life’ program.

‘I was a fanatic about bodybuilding; it was an obsession that drove me,” Aaron introduces. “Over the year’s, the health and fitness aspect (and how I felt each day) transformed the obsession into an everyday way of life-a lifestyle.’

The ATN campaign and corresponding products have been created to meet the needs and desires of all-for those who wish to maintain their overall well-being, the Baby Boomers who wish to remain forever young, and those who wish to make an absolute commitment to change-to lose some weight and get into shape.

‘You know, over my 20-year music career, folks are always asking me about how I stay in shape,’ Aaron said. ‘Exercising and staying active is just our way of life, at home and on the road, and with, my wife, Thea’s, help, I’ve learned to make better food choices and eat right. This is something (ATN) that we’ve wanted to do for a very long time.’

‘Our primary motivation is to promote healthy changes to enhance your life, and your lifestyle, make it a family affair, and have fun at it,’ said Thea Tippin who is an integral pillar behind the premise and foundation of the Tippin family and the ATN lifestyle program.

‘This is a proactive lifestyle campaign that we hope will encourage everyone to take forward-moving measures to maintain and increase their health and vitality-and the way they live overall. That includes changing the way you think, becoming more active and taking nutritional supplements to help you along the way,’ Mrs. Tippin added.

With the primary focus being on the complex relationships that exist between nutrients and the latest technological advancements in nutrition therapies, each and every ATN product has been developed with care and the human body in mind. ‘Offering a quality product is an A-Number-1 priority for us,’ Aaron states. ‘We’ve teamed with a proven manufacturer of nutritional supplements-one that I can firmly put my stamp of approval on. Thea and I have been taking our own products for more than six months now, so we can speak of the benefits from personal experience.’

The ATN line of nutritional supplements lend themselves to all areas including heart, mind, bone and joint; special concentrations such as energy, cholesterol, detoxification and stress management; as well as a daily multivitamin to support over all body balance. Brawl Nutrition Fights Its Way Into The MMA Supplement Market

Atlanta based Brawl Nutrition, a sports nutrition company that designs and markets supplements to mixed martial art athletes, is calling for industry CEOs to put their muscle where their marketing is. Greg Latora, Brawl Nutrition’s President and CEO, is so confident in the company’s product line, that he is willing to step into the ring if challenged by any competing CEO. “Just as the Gracie family validated the effectiveness of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu by their performance in the ring, I am willing to do the same for Brawl Nutrition’s line of products”, says Mr. Latora.

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) July 1, 2009 — In a year when many corporate leaders are tucking their heads in the sand, one CEO has put out a challenge his competitors. Latora. While the sports nutrition industry is saturated with over-priced, over-marketed products, Brawl Nutrition has carved out a specific niche for the rapidly growing sports of mixed martial arts. Chris Lusk, Brawl Nutrition’s Marketing Director states, “We are sick of watching bodybuilding supplement companies take their tired, ineffective product lines and market them to MMA fighters. Many of these supplements decrease flexibility and stamina which are critical to fighter’s performance.” Mr. Lusk added, “Brawl Nutrition offers a product line that is formulated specifically for fighters, not one-dimensional weightlifters. Whether our products are used individually or in a stack, our line compliments a fighter’s unique physique, and training regime.” Brawl Nutrition products and merchandise can be purchased through their website, www.brawlnutrition.com, or in local fighting facilities.

In addition, Brawl has launched two subsidiary websites: Girls Of Brawl (www.girlsofbrawl.com) and Team Brawl (www.team-brawl.com) that give fighters, models, trainers, and gyms the opportunity to showcase their talents for sponsorship, promotional, and general business opportunities. Dom Briomonte, Brawl Nutrition’s Director of Industry Relations states, “MMA, being relatively new to mainstream America, is at a young and vulnerable stage right now. As ambassadors of this sport, we are striving to build a community that protects and supports the interests of its participants. By sharing resources within our network of partners, affiliate companies, and schools, we can help our members reach new heights, both personal and professional.”

Bodybuilding contest planned for Sportex

International sports and leisure industry exhibition to showcase the ultimate in personal fitness levels through competition

Healthy business will be literally rippling its muscles at this year’s Sportex Middle East exhibition, as the trade show plays host to its fourth annual bodybuilding championship.

This year’s event, set to take place in December, will see increased competition, as the Emirates Bodybuilding Federation (EBBF) adds a third category to the fitness contest, encouraging athletes to enter for the 80kg,
80-90kg and 90+kg categories.

Timed to coincide with National Day celebrations across the UAE, December 6th will see athletes from across the GCC and beyond weighing in in readiness for a tough show of strength. December 7th will see muscles flexed as competitors go head to head to win cash prizes, medals and the coveted Sportex cup.

“The Sportex Bodybuilding Competition has fast become one of the prize events in the Middle East’s annual sporting calendar, attracting athletes from across the region keen to show off their physical prowess,” said Abdul Rehman Falaknaz, President of IEC.

“With the new 90+kg category we expect to see an even higher level of entries and look forward to an impressive show of strength,” he added.

Would-be competitors need to contact the EBBF to enter the competition.

Last year’s contest saw strong participation, with athletes from the UAE, Egypt, Iran, Bahrain, Syria, Lebanon and Saudi Arabia.

The winner of the under-80kg category was Humaid Reda from Al Ein Classic Gym in Iran. The winner of the over-80kg category was Zaher Makhl from Lebanon’s Unifit Gym.

The 2008 edition of the Sportex Middle East exhibition, held in early November at Dubai World Trade Centre, was the most successful event in the event’s six-year history. More than 3,250 trade visitors attended the event, which was endorsed by Dubai Sports Council and presented by Dubai Sports City.

Some 79 companies exhibited at Sportex 2008 showcasing the very latest in sports, fitness, health, outdoor and stadium equipment.

Sportex is supported by the World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI), a world authoritative body for the sports industry and officially recognized by the IOC.

Sportex 2009 will run from December 6 to 8 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Attempt to sneak in hormone injections foiled

Abu Dhabi: Health Ministry and Customs inspectors have foiled an attempt to smuggle 33,000 hormone injections into the country through Abu Dhabi airport.

Dr Amin Hussain Al Amiri, Executive Director of Medical Practices and Licensing Affairs at the ministry, said interception took place two weeks ago when the shipment was detected by inspectors after three people came to the office to release a garments shipment.

The men told the inspectors there were medicines for personal use included in the shipment.

The inspectors discovered that the shipment did not include clothes, as declared in the insurance policy, but instead it included commercial quantities of hormone injections.

Al Amiri added that the ministry has coordinated with Abu Dhabi Customs and the Economic Development Department on taking legal measures against the shipper and consignee.

Customs officers foil bid to smuggle bodybuilding drugs

ABU DHABI // Customs officers and health inspectors have foiled an attempt to smuggle 33,000 steroid injections – typically used by bodybuilders – into the country, according to the state news agency, WAM.

Inspectors uncovered the cargo at Abu Dhabi International Airport earlier this month when three people claiming to work for a fabric importing company asked for clearance for a container marked as containing clothes, fabrics and what they claimed was medication intended for personal use.

When they checked the container, inspectors found a large quantity of a controlled hormonal drug in the form of injections that they said was intended for sale. The drugs, which were manufactured in Bulgaria, may have been counterfeit, according to health officials. There was no sign of any clothes or fabric.

Amin al Amiri, executive director for medical practices and licensing at the Ministry of Health, said the “misleading behaviour” was “fraudulent and liable to legal prosecution”.

“Having resorted to deceit and forgery in its bill of lading,” the company concerned must be subject to the pertinent legal procedures, he said.

Mr al Amiri said the drugs were a type of anabolic steroids scientifically labelled as “androgens” that are widely used among bodybuilders.

“These androgens are indeed the most dangerous form of doping, as they have a rapid boosting effect on muscle volume and body stimulation,” he added.

“Men and women use them despite their dangers and side-effects, namely, hormonal imbalance leading to aggressive tendencies.”

The ministry has listed the products as a controlled drug that must be used in strictly controlled medical treatment. It is illegal to give them to patients without a specialist’s prescription, which is then held at the pharmacy to make sure it is not reused.

The hormone injections seized at the airport were not registered with the ministry and had been imported from Bulgaria.

Mr al Amiri told The National: “Those medications are illegal and not registered in the country. Some of the medication was counterfeit.

“These people want to gain money illegally. The medicine is used in bodybuilder clubs to increase muscles and for illegal practices. It is dangerous because medications should only be prescribed by physicians. Usage may cause serious complications.”

63 participate in SBBA coaching course

Kota Kinabalu: Some 63 participants attended the Sabah Bodybuilding Association’s (SBBA) coaching course, which was conducted on June 27, last week.

SBBA Secretary, Joseph Sylvester said its president Datuk Juhar Mahiruddin was delighted with the turn out, out of which 70 percent were made up of participants from the Sabah police contingent.

According to Sylvester, the objective of the two-day course, which was conducted at the Likas Sports Complex here, was to standardise coaching in all gyms throughout the State.

He added that the course, which was conducted by former national bodybuilding coach, Aziz Ahmad from Kuala Lumpur, was also a platform for preparing participants for the Sports Science Level 1 Bodybuilding Coaching course, which SBBA is planning to organise this September.

“The turn-out for the course was better than we expected and our President is delighted that it was so well received.

“This will help us later when we speak with the Malaysian Bodybuilding Federation and the National Sports Council about organising the Level 1 Bodybuilding Coaching course. If everything goes well, this would be the first time the course would be held here in Sabah,” said Sylvester.

He told Daily Express this when met on Tuesday.

SBBA Deputy President, Johnny Voo officiated the coaching course and witnessed the certificate presentation ceremony.
